Resilience
Resilience

Life is about changes and mostly adapting and coping to whatever new comes your way. Sometimes we create stories or visualize the way we want our life to go, which route to take and even how it should be, but unfortunately, we can’t control everything.

There was something in my life I did not know I wanted or let’s say something I thought it was not going to happen at all, I had a vision of how I wanted my life, and I had made my peace with it but as I previously mentioned life is a constant change.

Dreams change, goals change, I do believe that is the only constant in life: CHANGE. Things do not remain the same, not even oneself, we are always evolving (or at least we should), a new job, a new partner, a new crisis, a new problem, a new car, whatever, there is always something that will alter the way your life goes or the path that you will take.

I recently had a new life dream which last week I was told can’t happen the way I wanted, the way it usually happens, it broke my heart, and the thing is, it is weird because for so long it was something I was not looking for, but someone came, and then something changed in me.

Now, I find that I have to look for options, the idea or the dream is not impossible, it can just take longer or in a different way, or maybe not at all. Decisions must be made.

Resilience, that is what is all about, we need it, we have to be able to adapt and recover from different situations. It is 100% a skill and it is learned with time and with willingness to grow.

At the moment I am still struggling silently on the inside, sad to learn I am different but at the same time happy that there are options, and I have a support team behind me that loves me so much, from my amazing husband to my parents, siblings, friends.

Wherever you are or whatever is happening to you: Feel your emotions, find options, search for your support team, if there is none then YOU are your team.
