Gratitude and Stardust

Hello beautiful people!
Today, as I sit here at my kitchen table while it rains outside, I’m looking out at the horizon and wondering: What am I going to write about today? Or at least, what will I share this week for my blog? I always say that I want to wait for "inspiration," but to be honest, I think sometimes you just have to start writing. Once you do, the thoughts and words start flowing—and that is exactly what I’m doing right now.
I started thinking: Should I write about friendships that are no more? Or about how I met Carlos and the decision we made to be together? I didn't quite feel like diving into those topics at this moment. What I do feel right now is Gratitude! So, yes, this is a gratitude post.
I started my blog in 2020 when the world had stopped and there was suddenly so much free time. I remembered how much I loved writing and wanted to put my thoughts out there. I figured maybe two or three people would read it—maybe none!—but at least I was doing something I loved.
The site I’m writing on now is different from the one in 2020. I changed hosts, so my old blog no longer exists, and now I’m here with this new one. I believe I’m in my second year now, and I must say, I write much more than I used to. I love it! I truly enjoy sharing my stories—the ones I create from scratch and, of course, my own life experiences. I am so happy to be doing this.
On another note, I also started my Podcast. More than just a "normal" podcast, I use it to talk about what I’ve written—like a "behind the scenes" project—and to share things that didn't make it into the blog posts. When I was younger, I wanted to be a radio host, but life took me in a different direction. Now, thanks to technology, I can host my own show for free. It makes me so happy!
I remember back in university, a friend created an internet radio station called Radio Bit. we even had a launch event at a café, made stickers, and I had my very own show. It was so much fun! I would play music and talk about various topics; in a way, I was part of a very futuristic idea! This was back when podcasts weren't even part of the conversation yet. A few people tuned in, and I still remember how great the comments were.
I’ve started these projects of mine not knowing if they will "go" anywhere or if only a few people will ever listen or read. But to those of you who do: Thank you!
I can see on my blog dashboard where people are reading from and how many hits I get. My most popular post was "Becoming a Cruise Director" with 150 reads—which feels like a lot to me! As for Spotify, I’ve just started and the audience is small, but I’m proud of it. I have a total of 20 listeners, even if it's just the same person on repeat! (Haha, just kidding!)
So, thank you so much to everyone who reads, listens, and shares my posts.
Follow your dreams, even if it is just for you. If it makes you happy, just do it! Go ahead and make it a reality. Even if people talk or criticize, follow your own path. Fill your heart with love and, of course, GRATITUDE!
