Hello everyone, I just thought about taking a break from my personal life and let's talk about this TV show called 9-1-1. I do not know if I need to apologize, but it is ridiculous how I always get teary-eyed in almost every episode.
The show currently has 8 seasons, and I think the 9th season is set to release in the US this October. Let me tell you, this TV series restores my faith in humanity, or perhaps it represents what the world could use more of. I recognize that these are characters on a TV show, and I also realize that some scenes may be quite Hollywood-esque, but for me, it always resonates with my sense of humanity. It embodies hope, friendship, forgiveness, and illustrates how people can change and rebuild their lives.
I won't discuss the stories in the show, but I believe the world could use more heartfelt programming. It might have always been this way, and with social media, we receive news more rapidly and globally about violence, bad leaders, corrupt governments, scandals, deceit, drugs, and more. Therefore, I truly think we need more news and information highlighting the positive aspects of the world, perhaps writings that inspire people to improve themselves and stand up for their rights. I feel the world is in need of a victory.
Let me be clear, I'm not suggesting we conceal the "bad" events that occur, as it's important to learn from history to avoid repeating it. However, we also need hope, something that assures us we'll be alright, and that by collaborating and working together, we can look forward to better days. Without hope, people would have nothing to aspire to.
What are your thoughts? Am I being overly sensitive, lol, or do we genuinely need more uplifting stories, shows, news, or information to remind us that "good" still exists?
