Welcome to My New Site!

Hello, first of all I would like to welcome you to my new site, my name is Cecilia but almost everyone knows me by Cecy or "CC". I am a Cancer, so I was born in June, I am a Millennial, I was born in the 80's so I am already in my 40's.

I started blogging in 2020. I do believe that many people started having loads of new hobbies during that time. I have always enjoyed writing since I was a little kid and got my first diary. I believe I was around 9. Writing has helped me throughout the years to express my feelings, my thoughts, and everything I don't understand about myself or the world.

As time passed by, I realized that writing was part of me and I could write about anything not just my personal life on my diary so when I was around 15 years old, I started writing short stories, I would let me imagination and creativity loose, it was so much fun. I remember I used to write stories about my best friends and created a world for them where they met their prince charming or a world where they had magical powers, I even started making up stories about my dreams. I would print my stories give them to my friends and they would enjoy them, it was amazing.

Writing did not stop for me; I continued writing stories until I was in my 20s, but somehow, with time, I just stopped. I believe I got caught up in life or lost confidence in myself and my writing. I started thinking too much about structure, ideas, and making sense, which caused me to lose the ability to just create and then worry about spelling, grammar, etcetera.

So, here I am writing again, maybe not as often as I would like, but I still enjoy people relating to what I write or to what I have to say. Through my writing, you might understand more about my journey, and hopefully, something will resonate with someone and make them feel better or just maybe take someone to an imaginary world and escape reality for a little bit. With this said, what you can expect from me is writing a little bit about everything: life experiences, the world's messiness, also some of my short stories of something I have written in the past, or maybe a new story, a new piece of my imagination.

If you made it all the way to here, thank you very much, I will continue writing and posting because it is what I enjoy, it is my hobby, and so many ideas cross my mind every day so it is nice to express myself and hopefully you can relate to some of it.
